This year, Structure Home is a sponsor of The 4th Annual Woman’s Getaway Benefit weekend in La Jolla, CA. This event highlights women connecting and giving back to one another in support of children of domestic violence.
Who is Present Now? Their mission is to provide disadvantaged children with both essential goods and specialty items with the hope of bringing them joy, comfort, and relief during a time of crisis.
Our client Melanie Neumann is the co-founder of Present Now. Four and a half years ago Melanie and her dear friend Erica Fisher started this amazing nonprofit that supports these special children. Women who are in domestic transitional shelters stay in these programs for 18 – 24 months. Present Now supports the children that come out of these trying situations. Present Now began in two shelters at its inception in 2013, and is currently helping in 27 shelters. They help over 460 kids ages 1-18 years old and give out over 1,200 gifts each year. The Present Now program gives new items to these children on their Birthday, Valentine’s Day and when they are about to go back to school in August.
