The young family we built this home with wanted a warm and inviting home to support the comforts and celebrations of their growing family, along with their community of friends. A traditional east coast design served as a solid foundation, coupled with another amazing design by Karen Putman of p2 Design. Within this traditional and classic background the client, with design direction from Jill Wolff Interior Design, used generous colorful accents to lift the experience of the home with some fun and fashion-forward finishes, furnishings and artwork.
One of the design objectives this home masterfully accomplished is its gradual adaptation to the topography of the property. Carefully planned, the client and design team collaborated on this goal and the result is both felt in the homes integration of interior with exterior yard spaces and the experience of views on the homes upper floor. This is a truly wonderful home . . . an accomplishment we, and the client, are particularly proud of.
