Sustainable architecture is growing every year in popularity, with some pretty unique home designs coming out of this trend.
We’ve spoken about Green homes – where you take care with the choices of electronics, source materials locally and mindfully, install solar panels and try to mostly run your home off the sun. This of course works better in some places than others, and here in California we are quite lucky to be able to employ this sustainable technology often.
But what about sustainable architecture? What does that even entail?
In short, “Sustainable Architecture” is in reference to buildings that are designed to limit humanity’s impact on the environment.
